Our family built six cabins on the meadow we have farmed since 1962, a short walk from the Sava Bohinjka river and ten minutes by car from Lake Bohinj. Each one has a wood stove, its own kitchen and a bed under a window that faces the peaks.

What guests write
after a stay

“We came for two nights and stayed five. The cabin was warm when we arrived, the sauna was lit every evening, and Tina's route up to the lakes was the best walk of our year.”

Questions before
you book

If yours is not here, call Ana on +386 41 382 907 between 9 am and 7 pm, or write to [email protected].

What is the shortest stay?

Two nights, all year round. On a weekday a single night is possible when the cabin is free on both sides; ask us.

When can we arrive and leave?

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out by 10 am. When the cabin is empty the night before, come at noon at no charge.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, in Breza and Bukev, which have fenced gardens. It is €15 a night for each dog, two at most.

Is the sauna included?

Yes. The wood-fired sauna on the river is lit every evening from 6 to 10 pm and shared by the six cabins. Ask for an hour on your own and we put your name on the door.

Do we need a car?

It helps. The train stops at Bohinjska Bistrica, 3 km below the farm, and we collect you from the station if you tell us the time.

What is in the kitchen?

A two-ring hob in the small cabins and a full cooker in the others, a fridge, a kettle, a moka pot, and pans, plates and glasses for everyone the cabin sleeps.
