How a first consultation goes
-
1
A free call
Twenty minutes by phone or video. You tell me what you'd like help with and what you've tried so far.
-
2
A suggestion
I tell you which option I'd choose, what it costs, and whether you should see your doctor first.

Three days of notes
If you go ahead, I send a short health form and a food diary to keep for three days before we meet.
Do you take insurance?
I'm not in network with any insurer. After each session I send a superbill you can claim from your plan; many plans cover nutrition therapy for diabetes and kidney disease.
Will I have to count calories?
No. We work with meals, times and portions you can see on a plate. I don't ask anyone to weigh their food.
I'm vegetarian. Can you help?
Yes. About a third of my clients eat no meat, and every plan is written around what you already eat.
What if I need to cancel?
Move or cancel a session up to 24 hours before at no charge. Later than that, the session counts as taken.
Do you work with eating disorders?
Not on my own. If that is what you're facing, I'll put you in touch with a specialist team in Portland.
