Services

Six kinds of work, each with a price range you can plan around. The exact figure is written down before we start.

Drain clearing

Most jobs · $89 – $240

Slow sinks, gurgling tubs and floor drains that back up after rain. We clear the line, run water through it, and tell you if a camera look is worth it.

  • Cable or hydro-jetter, whichever suits the pipe
  • Trap cleaned and re-sealed
  • Camera inspection, $199, if it keeps coming back
  • 90 days: if it blocks again, we return free

Leak detection and repair

Most jobs · $149 – $480

A stain on the ceiling, a water bill that jumped, a drip you can hear at night. We trace it with moisture meters and thermal imaging before we open a wall.

  • Leak traced and shown to you
  • Joint, valve or section replaced
  • Pressure test after the repair
  • Photos for your insurer if you need them

Water heaters

Repairs · $129 – $420

Gas, electric and tankless. We repair what's worth repairing and tell you plainly when a twelve-year-old tank isn't.

  • Thermostats, elements, valves and anode rods
  • New 50-gallon tank installed from $1,450
  • Old tank hauled away and recycled
  • 24 months on installation labour

Pipes and repiping

Repairs · $189 – $650

Frozen and burst pipes after a cold snap, corroded galvanised lines in older houses, shut-off valves that no longer shut.

  • Burst section cut out and replaced
  • Main and fixture shut-offs renewed
  • Whole-house repipe in copper or PEX
  • Exposed pipes insulated against frost

Fixtures

Per fixture · $119 – $340

Kitchen and bath taps, toilets, basins, showers and garbage disposals. Buy your own and we fit it, or we bring one we trust.

  • Old fixture removed and taken away
  • New supply lines and shut-offs
  • Sealed, tested and wiped down
  • Toilet fitted from $189

Emergencies, day and night

Call-out · $129

Burst pipe, overflowing toilet, no water at all. Turn off the main if you can find it, then call. A plumber is usually there in 45 minutes.

  • Talk to a plumber, not a call centre
  • Water stopped first, repair priced second
  • $129 call-out, taken off the repair
  • No extra rate for nights or holidays

You approve the price before any work

    A two-hour window

We text when the plumber leaves the last job, with their name.

    A look, then a price

Up to three options from our price book, written on the tablet for you to choose.

  3. 3

    The work

The van carries 900 parts, so most repairs finish on the first visit.

About the bill

Anything else, ask the office on (802) 555-0148.

Why flat rates and not an hourly price?

So a slow job costs you the same as a quick one. The price covers labour, the parts on the van and the warranty.

What if the job turns out bigger?

We stop and show you, and write a new price. Nothing extra goes on the bill that you didn't sign for.

Can I supply my own tap or toilet?

Yes. We fit it at the same price; the maker's warranty covers the part and ours covers the fitting.

Do you offer payment plans?

On water heaters and repipes over $1,000: twelve monthly payments, no interest.

Is there a membership?

$15 a month: a yearly check of your heater and shut-offs, 10% off repairs, and no call-out fee at night.

Do you work for landlords and property managers?

Yes, with monthly invoicing and a key-holder visit if the tenant can't be home.
