Integrations and Analytics
Where form entries go, analytics and ad tags, and Fairpage's own visitor counts.
- Integrations starts with any entries that did not get to a service, with the reason and the fix: Replace key, Reconnect or Send again. Forms lists each form with where its entries go: the people mailed, Content, and each service. Where a form's entries go, and connecting a new service, is done in its panel in the editor (see Forms). Connected accounts lists the services already connected, with Replace key, Reconnect and Disconnect in each one's menu; replacing a key sends again what the old one could not. Under Analytics and ads, an owner or the site's builder adds the ID of Google Analytics (G-…), a Meta Pixel (its number) or Google Tag Manager (GTM-…), or pastes the code the service gives. They load only on the site's own domain, which needs its root and www both connected (or, for an address like shop.example.com, one more such as fp.shop.example.com), and only after a visitor accepts the cookie notice Fairpage shows. They get page views, form sends and clicks on links and buttons, and cannot read the page. A link to #cookie-settings, in the footer, opens the notice again; without one, the page ends with a small Cookie settings link.
- Custom code, on Plus, holds code a service gives for every
page: in the head, at the start of the body or at its end. For one place
on a page, choose Add, Code in the editor; Edit code on its
box changes it. Pasted code runs on the site's own domain and in the
draft preview, where a widget that keeps something in the browser may
not work; the site's fairpage.app address leaves it out, and the editor
shows a box in its place. It can read what visitors see and type, and
the site's owners are told when it is published. Lite runs no pasted
code. Meta tags, for an owner too and on every plan, takes only
<meta>tags, such as a search engine's verification. - Analytics, on the Overview, counts the live site's visitors and pageviews without cookies, so there is no cookie banner; the draft and the editor are not counted. Its range is Today, 7 days, 30 days or 12 months; countries, devices and browsers fold under the pages and sources.
