Plan and payment
Paying for a site, the free trial, and what happens when a plan ends.
Plan & billing, in the site's Settings, says what the site is paid until. The owner pays there for a year of Lite or Plus, moves between them, and buys more AI credits, and under Payment opens Polar for cards, invoices and cancelling. A year renews by itself until it is cancelled. A payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of it, through Help or at [email protected]. A refunded year ends at once, and the site goes offline. Until the site is first paid for, its live address shows it as offline, except during a free trial of 14 days that starts with its first publish; the editor works as usual.
A year's credits are used first and end with the year; credits bought carry over. When a plan ends, everything keeps working for 14 days; then the site cannot be changed for 30 days while the live site still runs; then the live site goes offline. The owner gets a mail at each step. Nothing is deleted, and paying puts it back as it was.
